Freddie Mercury 72nd Birthday

72 years ago a star was born.

His name was Farrokh Bulsara and he grew to become Freddie Mercury.

The young boy turned into a legend to prove that name and nationality aren’t reasons to give up.

He made it clear that style is temporary but personality is eternal.

He taught us that we dont have to pay attention to what’s expected of us, that some things are worth fighting for, that you dont have to quit, that you can find someone to love, and that we all are champions.

His voice is engrained in history, not just as a freedom cry but as an irrefutable testimony that talent makes no distinctions.

And above all Freddie proved that you can build a legacy out of greatness.

It was a great thrill I’ll never forget to see Queen perform in Las Vegas September 5, 2018 on Freddie’s 72nd birthday and to pay tribute to who I believe was one of the worlds greatest singers throughout all time.   Many blessing Freddie, thank you for your inspiration, genius and lifting us up when we felt “Under Pressure”.

May we all find the inner strength, faith and courage to “Break Free” from whatever has held us back.  Please enjoy this Cello quartet version of “I want to break free” By Queen.
